The Child and Maternal Program is a State funded COAG initiative.

The Program will be based at the Child and Maternal facility in Newman that is staffed by a Registered Nurse and Aboriginal Health Workers with a specialisation in Child and Maternal.  The staff is complemented by a part-time GP.

The Nurse and Health Workers will hold clinics and information sessions in Jigalong, Parnngurr, Punmu and Kunawarritji on a monthly basis in coordination with the on-site PAMS clinic staff and the other Health Promotion Team specialists.
